COVID-19 UPDATE
We are meeting live and via Zoom each Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m. Contact Zenshin (monkzenshin@gmail.com) for details.
The North Valley Zen Sangha is a small, independent Zen community established in 2013 to provide students with an ongoing opportunity to deepen their practice.
We gather for zazen weekly at 205 Natalie Ave. NW. We also host occasional zazenkai (all- or half-day sittings) led by Mitra Bishop Roshi, abbot of Mountain Gate/Sanmonji in Ojo Sarco, N.M.
Zazen instruction for newcomers is also available.
WEEKLY ZAZEN SCHEDULE
Wednesday 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The regularly scheduled practice includes two periods of zazen and brief kinhin (walking meditation). There is tea service, chanting and a discussion period following sitting practice.
For more information, please contact Zenshin at (505) 453-6072 (monkzenshinATgmail.com).
